David R. Mullaney built up a three-decade career in the vertical construction industry in New England. His experience as the founder, principal, and CEO of the Mullaney Corporation encompassed the construction of such notable projects as a $38 million performing arts center at Bard College at Simon’s Rock.
Through his construction company, Mr. Mullaney completed many notable projects in the educational, institutional, multi unit housing, and medical sectors. Under his direction, the Mullaney Corporation rose to become one of the three largest open-shop firms of its type throughout Massachusetts and other parts of New England, realizing an annual sales volume in excess of $100 million. The firm won several awards related to many of its projects.
David Mullaney’s firm typically executed 10-12 major concurrent projects, on time and within budget, every year. This work ethic helped to drive consistent year-over-year profitability, with margins well above industry norms. The steady increases in retained annual earnings increased the company’s bonding capacity, as measured annually, as well as its ability to capitalize its operations.
Further, as a consulting attorney, David Mullaney offers legal counsel, due diligence, and risk-management services to investment and development firms working in markets across the country. Having worked closely with clients, client lenders and project investors in his firm's capacity as C.M. at Risk, David brings a unique and successful background to his role as legal advisor.
